Standard Shipping Across Canada

Boreal Outfitters is proud to ship our premium, high-quality outdoor gear across all provinces and territories in Canada. Whether you're gearing up for a weekend hike in the Kananaskis or a month-long expedition in the Torngat Mountains, we ensure your equipment arrives safely and on time.

Processing & Dispatch

All orders are hand-picked, inspected, and packed with care from our headquarters in Banff, Alberta. Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1-2 business days. During peak seasons (like the lead-up to winter or summer camping season), please allow an additional 24 hours.

Options & Rates (Southern Provinces)

  • Standard Ground (3-7 Business Days): $15 CAD flat rate for orders under $100 CAD.
  • Free Standard Shipping: Enjoy free shipping on all orders over $100 CAD (before taxes) within BC, AB, SK, MB, ON, QC, NB, NS, PEI, and NL.
  • Expedited Air (1-3 Business Days): Calculated dynamically at checkout based on package weight and dimensions. Perfect for last-minute backcountry preparations.

Remote Canadian Locations: Yukon, NWT, & Nunavut

We believe that those exploring the most rugged and untouched parts of Canada deserve access to the best gear. Shipping to the Far North comes with unique logistical challenges, but Boreal Outfitters is committed to outfitting our northern explorers.

Yukon (YT)

Deliveries to Whitehorse and surrounding communities typically take 5-10 business days. We partner with specialized northern freight carriers. A remote shipping surcharge of $25 applies to oversized items like tents and multi-day packs.

Northwest Territories (NT)

For Yellowknife and accessible regions, expect 7-12 business days. For fly-in only communities, we coordinate with local charter services. Please contact our support team to arrange logistics for extreme remote drop-offs.

Nunavut (NU)

We proudly ship to Iqaluit and beyond. Due to relying heavily on air freight, standard delivery is 10-15 business days. Heavy items (over 10kg) are subject to custom shipping quotes. All Nunavut orders are priority-packed to withstand extreme cold during transit.

Notice for Northern Residents: We honor the Nutrition North Canada subsidy where applicable on trail food and survival rations. Contact us for your specific community's eligibility and custom billing.

Carbon-Neutral Transit: The Boreal forest is our home, and protecting it is our priority. We offset 100% of the carbon emissions generated from shipping our products by investing in Canadian reforestation projects.

Lost or Damaged Shipments: It's rare, but the wilderness is unpredictable. If your package is lost in transit or damaged upon arrival, our Field-Tested Guarantee means we ship a replacement immediately, no questions asked. We handle the carrier claims so you can focus on your expedition.

Tracking: Every order, regardless of destination, includes end-to-end tracking. You'll receive real-time updates via SMS or email as your gear makes its way to basecamp.
